Foods for a flat stomach

A beautiful firm body, elastic skin and red cheeks are signs that we’re treating our body properly and well.  It means that the food we are eating suits us and is benefiting our health.  Everyone wants a beautiful body with smooth skin and a flat stomach. And that’s totally fine. The main thing is that fat shouldn’t be on the internal organs.  When fat covers the lungs, heart or liver it affects the functioning of the organs.
To prevent fat from accumulating in your body, we recommend six foods that not only help you achieve a flat stomach quickly, but also help to balance your daily intake.

Salmon

Salmon is one of the best sources of omega fatty acids. It also contains vitamins A, B and D, as well as folic acid and many minerals. These are good not only for your skin, hair and nails, but also for your gastrointestinal tract.  The healthiest is fish that has had only minimal heat treatment, such as fresh, lightly salted or quickly cooked or grilled fish. As for smoked salmon, it’s better to avoid it because it can contain critical bacteria.

Olive oil

It’s maybe a bit unexpected to see oil on a list of foods for weight loss. But oil should be on the menu. Saturated fatty acids and trans fatty acids are the ones you should avoid, such as the fats in chips and mayonnaise as they stay in the body for a long time. But olive oil and sesame oil are perfect for maintaining the balance of unsaturated fatty acids in the body. They also help reduce cholesterol.  It’s important not to forget that oils in themselves won’t make you slimmer. They should be enjoyed in moderation. And you can experiment with the flavour and smell characteristics of dishes.

Bananas

Bananas are often excluded from most diets due to their high sugar content. But the fact is that bananas are an important source of vitamins A, C, E and B complex vitamins, as well as calcium, magnesium and zinc.  All these elements are essential for a flat stomach that can be your ideal stomach. Bananas also contain lots of potassium.  Potassium rich foods are a natural diuretic. Banana fibres can also reduce pressure and unpleasant colic in the area of the oesophagus.

Wholewheat

Whole grain helps to break down fatty deposits in the region of the stomach. Apart from that, whole not ground grain also prevents the development of heart failure or diabetes. White bread and pasta contain nothing more than starch which  later becomes fatty deposits. People who eat wholewheat products have fewer fatty deposits compared with those who don’t. That’s why nutritionists recommend giving up sandwiches. It’s better to germinate the centre of the cereal and use it in healthy smoothies with fresh fruit, vegetables and berries.

Fennel seeds

Dried fennel seeds are very nutritious and contain dietary fibres, magnesium, calcium and iron. For a long time they’ve been considered one of the most important superfoods for tackling stomach problems.
Tip: Chew half a teaspoon of seeds after your meal. Alternatively you can make a tea from the seeds. For the tea, put half a tablespoon of seeds into your cup with hot water.  Let the tea brew for 5 minutes and then strain it.  Add honey or agave syrup to taste and enjoy your tea.

Water

Water is the best thing for reducing a plump belly. It’s essential for daily health and crucial for your stomach. If you don’t want boring flavourless water, take a transparent glass and add lime, oranges, cucumber slices, mint or other healthy tasty things. Drinking water is not only about making you feel full, but also about boosting internal processes (breaking down fat to release energy) which transports nutrients to the muscles.
