The Stenders wooden brush can be used to treat the face and body, even during a bath or shower. Bürsten also promotes the cleansing and purification process in the sauna. It is best to use the Bürsten massage in the morning – as it is an activating measure, a Bürsten massage in the evening can possibly put you off to sleep. After use, the brushes should be stored in a dry place or hung up. Pressure on the bristles should be avoided as they could break and the brush would lose its full effect. If the brushes are cared for and cleaned, the brush will only slowly break down after two years and therefore lose some of its effectiveness.
The best thing to do is to regularly (approx. two to three times a week) practise the massage for around five to ten minutes. This ritual should be easy to integrate into your morning routine.
