Alles begann in einer kleinen Zwei-Schlafzimmer-Wohnung in Manhattan, als Mario Badescu aus Rumänien kam, um den amerikanischen Traum zu leben. Mit Leidenschaft und Hingabe stellte er in seiner Wohnung seine ersten Produkte von Hand her und brachte den New Yorkern Gesichtsbehandlungen im europäischen Stil näher.
